There are some qualifications here. Total eclipses roll by every 18 months or so but nature throws out a much higher chance of incidence over inhospitable terrain, the most probable venues being vast tracts of ocean or barren icy wastes. Also whilst the Moon casts a huge shadow over the face of the Earth sometimes as wide as 10,000 miles, the central umbral cone is only a fraction of this, sometimes as narrow as 100 miles or so.

But here's the good news because the next total solar eclipse is nearly upon us, due on 29 March 2006. And, as the Moon's shadow sweeps across Africa and the Mediterranean at 1,500 to 2,000 miles per hour, the umbral cone will cross an area favoured by many of us in our annual quest for a quick week away in guaranteed sunshine.

Hunting Down Paedophiles: Citizens on the Watch, available in 52’ and 90’ versions, is a powerful film about citizens in Cambodia who take it upon themselves to combat on paedophilia due to failings of the national judicial system.

It has been sold to pan Asia broadcaster All Asia Networks, VRT and RTBF in Belgium, TSR and RSI in Switzerland, DR-TV in Denmark, SF Austria, RTE Ireland, TV4 Sweden, TVN Poland, TVI Portugal and Foxtel Australia. Hunting Down Paedophiles: Citizens on the Watch was produced by Premières Lignes TV/Amip France for Canal +, it is directed by Paul Moreira.

"Semakin erat dong. Kami ini keluarga kecil dari kampung. Kami berdua sudah terbiasa saling kompak. Saya juga tidak ingin keluarga saya kacau-balau karena masalah ini," tegas kekasih Raffi Ahmad tersebut.

Pada kesempatan tersebut, Yuni juga menegaskan bahwa yang pernah dia katakan (menyebut Raul duda) itu tidaklah mengada-ada. "Saya tidak ngarang. Buat apa saya ngarang? Tidak ada untungnya juga," ungkapnya.

Kalau dibilang mencemarkan nama baik, dirinya justru mempertanyakan kembali hal itu. "Kalau dari kami, semua ucapan beliau tidak pernah dipermasalahkan. Kalaupun ada yang kepeleset sedikit, kami diam saja," tuturnya.

Kalaupun nanti harus datang ke polda terkait kasus tersebut, Yuni menegaskan akan datang dan mempersiapkan segalanya sebagai bentuk profesionalitas. Tapi, Yuni mengaku tidak memiliki minat untuk menuntut balik. "Kalau mau nuntut balik, nanti masalahnya berentet. Saya tidak mau nyusahin," ucapnya.

Mengenai adiknya, dia berkomentar bahwa KD tidak selalu benar, tapi juga tidak selalu salah. Saat KD mengungkapkan masalahnya di depan publik beberapa waktu lalu, Yuni justru merasa terharu.

"Tidak semua manusia mampu mengungkapkan kesalahan di depan umum. Kami juga tidak bisa memaksa orang untuk menyukai kami. Ada yang suka, ada yang tidak suka, itu wajar," jelasnya.

Mengenai kelanjutan cerita antara KD dan Raul, penyanyi bertubuh mungil tersebut tidak mau berspekulasi. Lagi pula, kata dia, itu bukan urusan dirinya. Yang menjadi urusannya adalah mewakili keluarga untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut.

Tips Hamil - Soon after his arrival in Jakarta on Wednesday afternoon, independent police investigators questioned rogue tax official Gayus Tambunan. Chief of the National Police detective unit Comr. Gen. Ito Sumardi said Gayus, wanted for corruption and money laundering, was questioned at the office of the police operations deputy.

Gayus had been a fugitive of the Indonesian police and task force since March 24, but surrendered voluntarily to police personnel while dining with members of his family at a restaurant in Singapore.

Speaking to journalists, Ito said the independent police investigators set up by the police chief to uncover the judicial corruption case operated professionally.

The success in bringing Gayus back home was the result of sound coordination among the police, task force, and immigration authorities, he said.

The task force secretary, Denny Indrayana, said Gayus' return to Indonesia was expected to accelerate the law enforcers' efforts to reveal the judicial mafia cases.

"This case is expected to be revealed sooner because we have got all key witnesses, namely Andi Kosasih, Haposan Hutagalung, and Gayus Tambunan," he said.

Indrayana said he believed in the police investigators' professionalism and integrity in handling the Gayus case.
